Stevenage and District Amateur Radio Society  (SADARS, G3SAD) weekly meetings at the resource centre Chells are suspended till further notice.  

The suspension of club meetings is a response to the Coronavirus emergency and is temporary.  The meetings will be replaced by a 2M Sked at 19:30 UTC (145.45MHz)  each Tuesday till further notice.  There is also a sked on 80m (close to 3.727MHz each Thursday at 20:00UTC.

Zoom meetings are also being held every second Friday.   Details from Tom Miller

During the year there are talks, competitions, field days and visits to companies and institutions of interest to radio amateurs.  We welcome all people with an interest in Amateur Radio generally.  Find out more about our hobby at this link.

Please note that to transmit on the Amateur Radio Bands, a radio amateur licence is a legal requirement and exams (multiple choice) and practical training are involvedSADARS has registered trainers and assessors  and the club currently provides  training and assessment at foundation and intermediate licence level.  Do get in touch if you want to know more.
