CQ WW SSB Contest 28/29 October 2006.
We had a great weekend. We agreed to do the event for 24hrs of the 48hr contest. We started at about 10:00 on Saturday and finished at 09:00 (clocks went back an hour) on Sunday. Some of the tougher members stayed all night, not me, need my beauty sleep. We used two radios, the main rig using G3SAD and the other G2R. The main station made 270 contacts, the 2nd station about 100. There were more members turn up than we had expected. Thanks go out to all members that helped make the event so successful (we didn’t win, but it was enjoyable).
So more members for next year please.
