Listen Out for G3SAD

Club members with full licences can be heard around the bands using the club callsign G3SAD. Members who would like permission to use the club callsign (in return for a completed adif of their log) are invited to contact Tom or Rob for details.

Could be fun to see who records the most interesting QSO’s and on each band and mode?

Club Meetings at the Resource Centre

Stevenage and District Amateur Radio Society  (SADARS) meet at the Resource Centre in Chells, Stevenage. every Tuesday at 7:30pm- 9:00pm  

During the year there are talks, competitions, field days and visits to companies and institutions of interest to radio amateurs.  We welcome all people with an interest in Amateur Radio generally.  Find out more about our hobby at this link.

Please note that to transmit on the Amateur Radio Bands, a radio amateur licence is a legal requirement and exams (multiple choice) and practical training are involved.  SADARS has registered trainers and assessors  and the club currently provides training and assessment at foundation and intermediate licence level.  Do get in touch if you want to know more.

Club Nets

Every Friday evening at 8pm a net is held on or near 3.727 MHz. All amateurs are welcome to call in, club member or not. All dates can be found HERE The on-air VHF net meets on the last Friday of each month at 19:45 on or near 145.45 MHz FM
