Club Nets

Every Friday evening at 8pm a net is held on or near 3.726 MHz. All amateurs are welcome to call in, club member or not. All dates can be found HERE

If you don’t have a HF receiver, listen in on the Hack Green WebSDR, or maybe the Weston-super-mare WebSDR.  (Firefox browser works best, but in Settings, set Autoplay to Allow Audio and Video, to hear the audio)

Weston-super-mare SDR http://websdr.uk:8073/

Note – The Hack Green WebSDR automatically chucks you out after about 30 mins, so you have to login again to keep listening.

The on-air VHF net meets on the last Friday of each month at 145.450 MHz at 8pm FM

If you don’t have a 2 metre receiver, listen in on the Watford/Bushey WebSDR.  (Firefox browser works best, but in Settings, set Autoplay to Allow Audio and Video, to hear the audio)

Hope you can make it.

Hi folks sorry if this is not the correct place but I’m trying to get word out quickly. (As I need my dinning room table back!- explained below!)
I have been given a job lot of radio antennas
From three inches to a 20 foot portable whip antenna and about 30 in between.
Scrap value is under ten pounds but several of these are still in their bags unopened and it seems a waste?

I’ll take an offer (£50? ) from anyone who can confirm collection from Stevenage in next week or so. (If in Stevenage I could drop them off! )
There are various connectors cables power units and scanner bits but I don’t know if any of that is working.

Please let me know if anyone at the club would be interested ?

    Many thanks.
